Kitchen Update -for the curious.

Hello Folks!
Happy last day of September. I cannot believe tomorrow will be October already. We are for sure feeling the chill of Fall in the air around here.
I know I said another give-away would be posted last week, but like so many weeks lately, last week totally got away from me. I PROMISE to have another give-away tomorrow. I will post bright and early.

I have had lots of comments and e-mails asking how the kitchen turned out, so here are some pictures that were taken a couple of weeks ago. Thanks to everyone who is interested.

Notice I STILL do not have a backsplash. The subway tiles I ordered take 4-6 weeks to come in, so they should be in any day now. After the backsplash is installed then we just need to have all the trim painted and it will be DONE!!! Praise the Lawd. I will post an update when the backsplash is installed. Here are some photos of food I have been cooking in the new kitchen:

Homemade fresh salsa-with yellow tomatos from the Farmer's Market.
Tuna and avacado sandwich with rosemary lemon mayo and toasted foccacia. Delish!

Sweet tater french fries with spicy salt--my fave!

Homemade steamy chile on the stove. Feels like fall!
Stay tuned tomorrow for the next give-away. You'll be glad you did!
Have a great night!

Fabulous! It is a very lovely kitchen and your food looks divine.
It is not quite "fall" like here in Texas yet but I'm hoping I will sense the change soon.

Your kitchen is gorgeous!!! I love the things that you're cooking, too.

Funny, I always get in the mood to cook in the fall, more than any other season. Lately I'm becoming a crockpot maven. Today's crockpot meal - pork chops with sauerkraut and apples.
