Athens, Greece

I have finally figured out how to configure the pics from my husband's photo card into blogger. Blogger does not like the new camera card.

These are more pictures of Athens. The Greeks LOVE their Nescafe. It is EVERYWHERE and reminders of it are everywhere. They drink it cold with milk and sugar. It is seriously delicious.

I have no idea why I have my hand on my hip like I am Xena Warrior Princess in the one picture. As I said- it was hot and I was tired.

Also, please forgive the cussing mouse. It was in the Plaka area (shopping, eating, bustling area at the base of the Acropolis), and it was hilarious. In the middle of all these graffiti words in the Greek alphabet there was just this one pissed off mouse. So pissed off he spoke in English!

Tomorrow I will post some Greek Fashion. They are a beautiful and fashionable people.

Have a lovely day!

Oh,

Are you back?? What an amazing place, and you look as posh as ever. Let me know (email me) all the details.

Love the dog photo, by the way!

Yay! I am so glad you enjoyed Greece. I went last summer for a friend's wedding; there were a bunch of us and we stayed for 12 days, between Athens, Glyfada, Mykonos and Santorini. I absoluutely loved every minute of it! Seeing your pictures makes me wish I could go back right now!

Did you eat at any of the cute outdoor tavernas in Plaka? So much fun...especially the 70 year old Greek waiters who dote on you. I love it.
