A very good week and Happy Birthday Finley!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY FINLEY!
For dinner he had Tilapia.
And his very favorite gift was his new pair of cool Oliver Peoples sunglasses.
My husband made the night even sweeter by saying that designer Kevin looks like the love child of Santino Rice and Joey Fatone--HA! I could not agree more. I cannot wait to see it unfold. I cannot tell who will by my favorite this season, but no one will ever compare to my favorite Nick Verreos.
This has been a great week in spite the dip the temperatures took in the past few days, all things considered I have been blessed with a great week. 
On Wednesday, Finley turned one year old! For his birthday celebration, we had cake, party hats, long walks, and belly rubs. That is his birthday bone cake.

It was a very cool and intimate soiree with the lyrical genius of one Billy Harvey. The show was really great. Billy totally connected with his audience and the cozy, friendly atomosphere just added to the great entertainment. One of his new songs almost made me cry, the lyrics were thoughtful and true about how we are all different, but when you get down to it we are all the same--really beautiful. I'm so excited that "Project Runway" is finally back, but I was not impressed with the first winning design. What's so impressive about a grey toga with a Carrie Bradshaw-esque flower on one shoulder. Ho hum. Elisa (sp?) looks like this season's version of Angela Kesslar, except she does grasstains instead of "granny circles"!

YES! Project Runway. So good and Tim Gunn is not acting like a fool like he does on his own show. That show is terrible. His show, not PR. Kevin does look like Santino and Joey Fatone, but he also looks like you beloved Nick, at least to me.
I bet he is Greek.

I humbly agree with you about the first winning design--I mean he knows what he is doing and it did have nice draping but the color was blah. He is already established as a designer with a store--I like it when all the designers are hungry for it. I don't know--it will be interesting to see how it plays out. Grass stain girl should make it interesting!

Other people agree with you about Tim Gunn. I love him and he is so nice, BUT yes he sometimes comes across as a Macy's Puppet. Not sure of Kevin's heritage. I will have to find out. Nick is gorgeous!

Finley is so cute, he ALMOST makes me want to go out and buy a Maltese. Have you ever heard of the comic strip Tintin? Finley looks a lot like Milou, Tintin's dog.
